Our Story

 

Being a military family, we travel and move quite a bit, but wherever we go, good food is a source of comfort that brings my family home. We have enjoyed getting to know all of the different cultures and foods of the places we have lived, and it has become my passion to learn and share all that I’ve learned wherever I go.
My first bakery business started in the middle of the Mojave Desert in California, where I found my purpose in our small military community baking breads, and specializing in soft pretzels. This is where my husband and oldest son aptly named my business Mama’s Dough Boys, as I was pregnant with my second son. Four sons, 5 moves, and three home bakeries later, I have grown my skill set to decorating sugar cookies, cakes, and producing delicacies from around the world, including (but not limited to) macarons and pastries. This is my passion, and I am so excited to be a part of the village community here in Romeo, and share my passion with you all.
